Hideaways Exuma's Role

The role of Hideaways Exuma is to operate the rental program, in exchange for a share of the revenue, markets the units as a hotel, take reservations, operate the front desk, maintain the property and provide the services hotel guests expect, such as housekeeping, food and beverage, and concierge.

Hotel Service Package

Front Desk Service. HIDEAWAYS reception is staffed in two shifts daily. The Reception provides Guest Check-in/ Check-out, Guest Relations, Key Service, Traveler’s Cheques cashing, Guest Safety & Waiver forms, and Message Center. It is the first and last point of contact for most visitors to Palm Bay Beach Club.

Hotel Management. HOTEL Management is available 24/7 while HIDEAWAYS guests are in residence.

Guest Handling. The HSP also includes addressing the needs, questions, and emergencies associated with travelers who are unfamiliar with Palm Bay, Exuma, and their surroundings.
Hideaways staff is available in the event of any guest emergency, problem with a villa, or other issue. A Porter is available to assist guests with their luggage when they arrive and depart.

Security 24/7. On site security and control of persons on the private areas of the property is provided and available for any emergency or situation.

First Aid. A first aid station is maintained at HIDEAWAYS reception complete with trained personnel, DEFIBRILATOR and CPR equipment.

HIDEAWAYS 24/7. On site management is available in the event of an emergency. Transportation is available to guests in an emergency situation.

These cover all manner of guest special requests, from pre-arrival arrangement of food items, to taxi service, island services and expedition/tour information and booking.

Business Center Services. HIDEAWAYS guests and visitors can make use of the Hideaways computers located in the lobby area for Internet access and business productivity. Guests may request a complimentary CELL phone for the duration of their stay. (Fees for usage is the responsibility of the guest)

Beach and Water Equipment and Games. HIDEAWAYS Guests may make use of beach hammocks, resort kayaks, resort rowing boats, stand up paddle boards, Ping-Pong, associated safety equipment and supplies. Snorkel equipment is available – additional fees apply. Equipment can be checked out at the front desk.
Lounge Beds, Pool Equipment and Beach Furniture is available for the exclusive use of HIDEAWAYS Registered Guests.

George Town Shuttle. Most guests want to get out and explore a little while on the island. For those that do not rent their own vehicle, the HIDEAWAYS shuttle bus provides a convenient way for HIDEAWAYS guests to visit George Town and return to Palm Bay. The shuttle schedule is posted in the lobby area. Also available to transport Guests in the event of an emergency.

Beach Towel Service. HIDEAWAYS provides beach towels for guests of owners in the HIDEAWAYS program. These can be signed out at the front desk and must be returned to the front desk to avoid a replacement charge to the guest or villa owner.

Fitness Centre: Exclusively for guests and owners in the HIDEAWAYS Licensed Hotel program.
